When divers perform deep sea diving, they will effectively protect their ears. However, for some beginners, ear compression injury will have a certain impact. Beginners must go through professional training before diving. However, the maintenance of the balance of the ear pressure is not well mastered, and the ear compression injury will rush to the point where it can even cause drowning.

1, maintain the balance of ear pressure:
Washa Yushi operates with his right thumb and index finger to squeeze the nose completely tightly and then blows his nose firmly. At this time, because the nostrils are tight, the air flows to the Eustachian tube. When the strength is high enough, the Eustachian tube can be opened and the air can be opened. Enter the middle ear to balance the pressure. However, when the air pressure is too low or the nostrils are not tight enough to cause air leakage, the Eustachian tube is not easy to open due to insufficient pressure. If the air pressure is too strong, it will cause damage to the middle ear due to excessive middle ear pressure, and it will also increase. Inner ear lymph pressure caused inner ear compression injury. Therefore, this method is used with caution.
Other safer methods: yawning, opening your mouth to move your jaw, swallowing water, and the like.

2. Ear protection during diving:
1) During the submersion, do flat pressure. When doing ear pressure balancing, do not apply too much pressure or continue for too long. Otherwise it may cause ear damage. If the diver does not perform air-blowing when he dives, the eardrum will become edematous and congested, and finally the inward projection of the eardrum will break; after the break, the water will enter the middle ear to achieve pressure balance, and the middle ear pain will disappear. Inject cold water into the middle ear cavity to cause nausea and dizziness in the inadvertent; when the water temperature in the middle ear cavity is the same as the body temperature, the symptoms will stabilize. Seawater temperature is cold, and the cold seawater will stimulate the inner ear, causing dizziness, loss of sense of direction, and drowning events.

2) After diving, it is impossible to balance the pressure, and slowly increase the pressure to reduce the pressure and try again. If the flat pressure still fails to work, you should abandon the dive.

3) Control the speed of the dive to avoid overdriving the dive too quickly and use the rope to dive.

4) When it is difficult to balance the ear pressure, use the posture under the head and feet to dive, let the air from the nasopharynx to the middle ear through the pharyngeal tube.
